Ad Astra-Help Raise $150,000 for Child Haven


					Sean Egan - Ad Astra fund This web site is dedicated to the objective of raising $150,000 to build a school in Kathmandu, Nepal in memory of Sean Egan. Sean died on the slopes of Mount Everest on Friday April 29th, 2005. He was aiming to be the oldest Canadian to stand on the summit of Mount Everest. The members of the Everest expedition, Sean's family and Child Haven, the charity chosen by Sean to be associated with the expedition, have decided to build a school for the children in Kathmandu, Nepal, in Sean’s memory. One of Sean’s life principles was Ad Astra (Aim High).
