Once Terry and the other hikers left Base Camp, Harold Mah took over the diary and reported daily as he and Sean started to climb and acclimatize on their route up Mount Everest. He reported on the tragedy that befell the expedition and the ongoing trauma as he came to understand Sean’s death.
